Pyrolator’s Snow In Bushwick (Manta performance)

Sunday Synth Jam: Pyrolator’s Snow In Bushwick.

via pyrolator:

This is my first piece for the Manta, an instrument by Jeff Snyder (snyderphonics.com). It is triggering two instruments (collision and omnisphere) and a pre-programmed bass (audio-clip) in Ableton Live.

The setup uses touch-sensitive note-triggering and the X-Y multitouch-parameters at the same time and is written in max/msp.

Recorded Jan 8th in Bushwick, Brooklyn during some snowfall in front of my window…….

  1. Amazingly beautiful… and from a device that looks like it came from my uncle's garage, yet has control aspects that I would have never thought of. It would be nice to hear about your album…
