Jean Michel Jarre has announced a Web surprise for 10-10-10, to be delivered via Ustream and his site.

Unfortunately, Jarre’s site is one of those sexy-but-slow, Flash-based navigational nightmares, so we’re going to keep our eyes on his aerojarre blog for updates.

Think you know what Jean Michel Jarre has in store? Leave a comment with your thoughts!

  1. I think JM Jarre will announce that he is the replacement for George Harrison in the newly reformed Traveling Wilburys…………. but hey, I could be wrong.

  2. That 101010 is a secret binary code mysteriously hidden in our own satellite network by aliens to work around line-of-sight communication problems with other motherships encircling the planet which makes you wonder how they had line-of-sight issues in the first place but okay, let's not worry about that right now, and that unless Will Smith gets him one of these and flies Jeff Goldblum into the heart of the main ship and uploads a virus conveniently compatible with the host OS – which wouldn't have been a problem for the aliens if Steve Jobs was running the show if you think about it because not only would you not have been able to use it unless it was written native but it would never have got through the app store review process probably because it didn't make a noise when you used the accelerometer or it didn't have multitouch or whatever – we're all gonna die, remembering that we need to find some drunk redneck who claims to have been abducted to fly into a giant energy beam but as long as we have Texas I'm not worried.

Either that, or a synth-face-off with Rudess via YouTube. I know I'd watch.

    Bring it on, JMJ!

  3. I know. Francis Rimbert et. al. will be ushered off stage and on will bounce Jordan Rudess, who will provide all the backing for the rest of the concert on his iPhone. Meanwhile, Brian Eno's been patient behind the mixing desk sampling all the parts, which will be set into a worldwide web audience determined out-of-phase loop so… the concert will go one forever.
