Mac DJ Software Adds Hardware Support

An updated version of DJ-1800, a self-contained professional DJ system for the Mac, has been released. DJs who like to use hardware controllers during their set will be able to make the most of their kit with the new release, because it includes extensive controller support.

Version 2.2 of the professional DJ software includes support for popular controllers, including the Hercules DJ Console, the Kontrol-DJ and any other MIDI controller. The new version also features an updated interface, which is more responsive when new tunes are loaded.

“We know how popular controllers are with our DJs and we wanted to make their professional lives even easier,” said Dave Addey, CEO of DJ-1800. “Now when you are out at a gig, you can still play all your favourite music from your computer with DJ-1800, but you can control it with real buttons, dials and faders.”
