Synth-Werk shared this video for their SW 995-Contact Keyboard, a programmable 8-channel CV keyboard designed for Moog format modular synthesizers.
The SW 995-Contact Keyboard features automatic oscillator calibration, built in envelopes and LFOs, a ribbon controller and more.
Features:
- 8 channel programmable CV-source, including audio measurements.
- With the calibration feature of the SW 955-CONTACT keyboard, it is easy to calibrate the 901 single oscillator or oscillator bank within seconds.
- ENVELOPE SECTION You can assign 4 CV outputs to become 911 envelope outputs which include the standard parameters of a 911 envelope generator but also extended ranges and additional features.
- MODULATION SECTION There are 3 onboard LFO’s offering triangle, rectangle, saw up, saw down and S&H waveforms using independent frequency ranges between 0,01 Hz and 100 Hz. All LFO’s can be assigned to the various features of the keyboard (e.g. aftertouch, ribbon controller, mod wheel…).
- KEY ZONES You can define 3 different key zones on your 6 octave range. › Every key zone can be defined by its lower and upper note.
- Key assignments: Polyphone, Low, High or Last key
- Trigger Mode: Multi or Single
- MIDI IN: Local or channel 1…16
- MIDI OUT: Channel 1…16 or OFF
- RIBBON CONTROLLER

The Synth-Werk SW 995-Contact Keyboard is expected to be available in Q3 2025, priced at 3.800,00 €.
That’s a great design, with a generous keyboard. Its also loosely $5,200 US. That may not be a big reach for someone who was already in the Moog format, but it won’t be a casual hobbyist buy. Gold star for the pitch bend ribbon. That’s always a win.
Closer to $4500 US. Still not inexpensive though
It mentions aftertouch, but no mention of poly aftertouch. What a shame.
Since it’s designed for modular setups it’s mostly for mono synth use
Although I agree with you, it has midi out and because it’s quite large and so many keys, I can see people using it as a master keyboard. It’s still impressive.
