Waldorf Music has introduced Attack 3, a major update to their percussion synthesizer, originally released back in 2001.
They say that “Attack 3 redefines what a modern percussion synthesizer can be.”
Attack 3 features an analog-style synthesis engine, with 24 individual sounds per kit, and 12 sounds playable polyphonically as pitched instruments.

I bought it. There’s no new presets, and the bus FX don’t work, at least not on mac. I don’t know why Waldorf release plugins that are not really finished. This is the second old plugin they’ve rereleased lately. Are they also in financial trouble like NI?
But the UI I think is better now, and the upgrade price was good.
The FX bus works fine. Maybe contact support if you have trouble.
The update was advertised as a feature update plus a new UI and that’s what the update exactly delivering for a good price.

An update is by definition not a new plugin but an improved old one.

I installed it now on my windows machine. The bus FX works on the preset Dkdent kit (or what it’s called), but not on the others. Very strange
This is good news. I am not a sample person and I like entirely synthetic drums. I used an earlier version of this and liked it. It has disappeared someonewhere in some older computer. The earlier ersion was effective a making drum sounds. Some other similar domt make as many as easily. This will be a purchase.
And these few days later on pay day the introductory offer is gone
