  1. Cool. Another granular plug to forget about. Granular was novel 30 years ago. Not so much fun in composition.
Aren’t we over this? I wish the best to the makers. I know you mean well.

    1. Pianos were novel 300 years ago, yet people still seem to enjoy them. Did you at least try the plugin before posting your opinion?

  2. Phenomenal plugin. It was a long time ago I had so much fun with just one plugin. Yes it’s granular but also very creative and very well built.

  3. Granular is just a good source for pads at my house. Getting down to the last molecule of it didn’t go anywhere all that interesting. Where it does fit, though, its gorgeous.

One small problem may be things like UVI’s Falcon 2026. Its a major free upgrade that includes a granular engine called Grains. DAWs & a few flagship synths have 3/4 of everything bundled in the box. Its not as easy to stand out as a single module now.

  4. did y’all naysayers even read the details about Lucid, or did you just pan this up front because it’s new and has “granular” in the name? this genuinely does do some novel and helpful things in a comprehensive system that offers something bigger than the usual sum of parts. not even trying to convince you, but i think it’s pretty dumb to say it’s useless if you clearly haven’t looked into what it does. i think it’s actually pretty cool and interesting and offers something new for creativity.

    1. ”i think it’s actually pretty cool and interesting and offers something new for creativity.” Like what? Compared to the already existing granular fx plugins such as Arturia Fragments, Output Portal, Unfiltered Audio Silo, Crusher-X? Although nicely done, I see nothing new in Lucid.
