  1. Wow, I couldn't think of anything less interesting. Can people just get on with their lives and make some music instead? Please?

  2. I've heard softsynths sound really awesome through some wise processing (analog, analog modeling, whatever?) and analog hardware sound from outstanding to worse.
This series might be interesting to hear the sound capabilities of software and hardware.
Oh and my favourite video was the comparison between Clavia Nord Lead and DiscoDSP Discovery which came out a while ago, the second being a pretty good software synth which in my opinion simply sounds different from the original (it only has the same structure & signal path).

  3. This series is wonderful, computers can't and don't sound the same, as VA synths don't, but, cheap software is cheap and takes up no space compared to the real thing, listen to Kraftwerks last album. It was recorded on computer…it sounds like Kraftwerk, but it doesn't, like a thinner copy, I still can't believe they were happy with it ( great album, but would have sounded better on real analogue gear)…..rant over ;o)

  4. Hah, yeah, I'm interested to see this podcast, but if the production remains this bad and the presentation this awkward (SO AWKWARD!) I won't watch. Is Vince Clarke still doing these too?

  5. Geeze, give these guys a chance. If you don't want to watch it, go make music!

For you guys who want to make a Video Podcast about vintage synths. Please do it!

Don't let people discourage you. Go for it!
