Moby and Public Enemy Say Make Love F*** War

Written specially for Unity -The Official Athens 2004 Olympic Games Album compilation, Make Love F*** War is the first collaborative effort from Moby, who composed the music, and Chuck D and Flavor Flav of Public Enemy, who penned the lyrics.

The blistering single combines great dance beats, and incendiary lyrics. Chuck D transforms the “throw your hands in the air” chant of old-school rap into a timely political statement.

“Working with Moby on this theme and project again shows that music can be a universal language of peace,” according to Public Enemy. “Knowing his great work and concerns of the planet made this project one of like mindedness and world spirit… the song is a request that being a citizen of the world should transcend nationality in the name of peace.”

Moby comments: “We do still ostensibly live in a democracy, so my hope is that at some point the people will vocally rise up and let the current leaders know that they’ve had enough.”

A streaming audio version of the track is available online.
