Miss Jade, along with her babies, unboxes her new Access Virus TI WhiteOut synthesizer.

A handsome family if I ever saw one.

Let’s hope for more rituals like this in 2010.

  1. I looked at it and I'm still wondering what the heck I just saw… Sorry but, nothing special IMO. Its not even a real unboxing session; she opens up the big box which contains another box and then after a quick fade out and back in the device is fully unpacked 😛

  3. I have a Virus TI and its a monster. I have no idea why you would ever need three…?
Honestly. Thats a fuck lot of DSP in one place.

  4. The TI is pretty underpowered in terms of voices on some patches. The TI1 will drop to 3 voices sometimes. The TI2 is supposed to have 1/4-1/3rd more power, so 4 voices. If you wanted to multitrack live you could use more than one.

I couldn't believe Access actually released the TI2 with such a little performance boost.

  7. One thing I have found with the Virus is the factory patches, they all use a LOT of voices. My own patches use a lot less. I guess its the lack of effects or the type of sounds I am after?
I have only noticed voices dropping out on factory patches.

  8. Hey guys,

First off, the Polar and WhiteOut live in different studios, so that's why I have 2 Viruses (as said in the comments section); the Snow is my bandmate's. Wanted to do an unboxing session with the whole Virus family!

Oh, and sorry it's not a "real" unboxing session… next time we'll make sure to get an agonizing 20 minutes of peeling tape and ripping plastic to make it more "legit" for ya 🙂

  10. Maybe 20 minutes is very long, but honestly, you could show at least the opening of the main box…it wouldn't take more than 5 minutes to unwrap it and show how the contents are put in the box..Unboxing of a product means that you show to other people how a product is wrapped in its original box and what other accessories the box contains except the main unit…(manuals, power cords etc…) You have just cut a tape and show us the unit…well, it wasn't a typical unboxing…

…what did you drink there? 🙂

  12. oh my god i am so attracted to you right now !

Nothin hotter than a woman who aspires to have great synths, not to mention you’re pretty cute too 😛

I just got a VTI2 Whiteout also.. its strange to think only 99 other people on the planet know exactly how i feel right now !

Now to setup the Jazzmutant Lemur Access Virus TI2 WHITEOUT

    (Fingertips burning with anticipation)

  13. I feel happy and free – since I’ve got none. Most probably, never need one. Really amused to see people fallen in “love” with instruments, technical gear. Hope someday we’ll realise this for the human race.
