One should (bearing in mind that this tutorial video is obviously aimed at new Logic users) note that if you just want to timestretch a loop you're probably better of using either Apple Loops (works in Logic before version 9 and some other programs, plus you have the benefit of being able to build your own library of loops if so inclined) or Logic 9's Flex Time feature.
