M-Audio Venom Synthesizer Multi-tracked Demo

This is an official audio demo, via Avid, for the M-Audio Venom synthesizer.

The demo is worth checking out, as it features sounds in a variety of styles, and because some of the styles aren’t ones that you may immediately associate with the Venom, based on its previous marketing and presets.

All synth sounds in the demo come from the M-Audio Venom synthesizer. The demo includes sample audio loops for drums. the audio interface used was the one built into the Venom and Pro Tools and Ableton Live were used for multi-tracking, Reverb, delay and compression were added in the DAWs.

  1. I got the Venom two weeks ago along with a pair of Studiophile CX8 monitor speakers. The Venom synth is quite impressive IMHO.

I got it from zZounds, and they even matched and went below Amazon’s price for it. Plus I got it on four payments with NO interest. Can’t beat that!

  2. I’m sure they’ll get the MIDI thing sorted out, but I couldn’t be happier soundwise. Had it 6 months now and it is a reallly inspiring piece of kit. I use the input monitor to mix and layer sounds from my old school Ensoniq ESQ-1 with it and the two together are just lush as hell. Really great together! The mod routing on the Venom is killer too, and despite some things I wish it could do, at the end of the day, it’s a fat little monster is the studio. Love it.

  3. Is there any way to multrack the Venom in Cubase 5?
I just got it today can’t figure out how to assign different sounds to different tracks.
    anyone help??
    thanks
