C.24 iPad Music Keyboard Well On Its Way To Being Funded

The C.24 iPad Music Keyboard – a two-octave wireless music keyboard designed for iPad that’s being developed as a Kickstarter project – is well on its way to being fully funded.

The project has raised more than 75% of its US $99,000 funding goal after just five days, with 25 days to go.

  • Capacitive ribbon controller
  • Octave shift via virtual buttons accesses a 9 octave range (32 LEDs indicate selection)
  • Analog pitch bend (32 LEDs reflect performance)
  • Hardware control expansion area (support for future modules)
  • iPad groove accommodates iPad 2, iPad 3 & iPad 4, as well as the iPad mini
  • Functions as a protective case with magnetic latch (compatible with iPad 2, iPad 3 & iPad 4)

  1. Looks great ..although I have an ipad 3 right now and wil be upgrading to ipad 5 when it comes out.

    Not sure if this will fit the new models. Is there any info on which model this was created for? (all models are shaped differently

    1. Bluetooth Low-Energy is not comparable to former versions of Bluetooth. The latency is much much lower with BLE. Also, MIDI data is not very complex. So the data packages are much smaller than for example what Bluetooth audio speakers with have to receive.
