At Superbooth 16, we talked with Leaf Audio’s Manuel (Manu) Richter about the Noise Banana – a simple synth, based on a CMOS oscillator, with power starving and light control.
The Noise Banana is designed to be a simple and fun intro to electronic music DIY.
You can find out about Leaf Audio’s workshops and kits at their site.
to be honest, i find it odd that apparently so many people like this kind of modular synths. buy a korg kross instead and make actual music, for god´s sake!
…it is (not so modular) DIY, isn´t it?
…how many noise bananas would you get for the price of a korg kross…and what would this sound like?
(…well probably not like actual music…but what is actual and what is music?)
I am a banana?
or
knife or banana?
look up the videos if you dare
Wake me up when the Noise Dildo synthesizer will come up…

There are very few synths out there where the first thing you think to do with them is stick them up your shirt. I think this is breaking new ground 🙂
