Reader Gianclaudio Moniri, an electronic musician and sound engineer from Rome, has released a free Live Rack, based on the sound of the Moog Mother 32 analog synthesizer.
He notes:
I’m a traveler and i always need to bring my instruments with me. Sometimes this is not possible, so i decided to sample my Moog Mother 32 and other synths in order to create some Ableton Live Racks, which gives me the chance to bring just my laptop with me, without loosing the sounds that i love.
Gear used:
- Moog Mother 32
- Arturia Microbrute mixed with Mother 32
- Reaktor Blocks
- Avalon 747 SP
- RME Fireface 400
It’s available as a free download.
If Moog can produce the excellent sounding Model 15 and Animoog polyphonic apps for iOS, why can’t they also make a (i)Mother xx for iOS ?
Better yet, how about Moog make a proper VST for using with a DAW instead of another iOS app?
I would love plug in versions of the Moog apps. Model 15 especially.
These sounds are great! Thanks!
