Modular Synthwave Soundtrack Jam

This video, via Sonic Robot (pwsynth), captures a live synthwave-ish performance, featuring an array of digital and analog gear.

Here’s what he’s got to say about it:

The synthesizers.com is a Moog 55 style modular system, using the Q960 sequencer for the bass line and Q119 for the three note chord pad.

Rhythm comes from the Korg volca beats, the Korg SQ-1 sequencer to the MS-20, and 4MS Eurorack drum module.

Higher pitched parts are the Ladik sequencer, to Make Noise STO, Optomix, Maths, and Echophon. Low pitched drones are from the Xiosynth and Polivoks style DIY Erica synths.

A few of the modules I made, including the Moog style ladder filter, a tube distortion, and analog VU meters.
