Abstract Data has released the v2.0 firmware for their flagship control and modulation module – the ADE-32 Octocontroller.
The Octocontroller is a module designed for control, modulation, triggering and pattern generation, with 8 simultaneous outputs.
Here’s what they have to say about Octocontroller 2.0:
“We’ve re-written and optimized more than 95% of the code base and I honestly believe it’s the best version of the ADE-32 there’s been.
The upgrade brings significant improvements to back-end performance but also adds some great new features – including a ‘visualizer mode’ to give users a better way to see what a selected output is doing and a choice of unipolar and bipolar LFO waveforms. There’s also some major interface and editing improvements – including the ability to lock an output and an option to reset a module back to default settings.
We’ve updated the user manual to include all the new functionality and we’ve re-written it to make it clearer for new users.”
See the Abstract Data site for details.
This news is a bit late, but I made a breakdown video of the new features here if you’re inclined to watch.

Wish these old eyes could actually read the labeling on this module.
