There was a cartoon in Playboy a long time ago concerning the young lady who inspired old J. S.’s Air On A G-String.
It’s a testimony to Bach’s resiliance- the music can be played on any instrument and still sound good.
I would like to lobby a request for Mozart’s piano concerto 20 since I’ve never heard it with anything but traditional instruments.
