Spitfire Audio has released another in their series of LABS free virtual instruments, Obsolete Machines.
It’s based on the unique instruments of Sam Battle, aka Look Mum No Computer, including the Gameboy Megamachine, Sega Megadrive Synth, and the 1000 Oscillator Megadrone.

Hilarious! Sam is firing on all cylinders anyway, with live performing that matches his technical creativity. I always thought it’d be fun to have some of these sounds to noodle with, but I never imagined it’d happen. LABS is a natural place for it as a collected ‘instrument’, too. I heart Spitfire.
