Synth-Patches has introduced a new sound library that features 150 new sounds for the Minilogue XD.
“Working on these 150 patches took me several months in total,” says Chris Steplowski, the creator of the set. “Minilogue XD is quite limited in terms of modulation, but I’m very happy with the results,” he adds.
Steplowski says that the sound library is inspired by sounds of Boards of Canada, Tycho, Com Truise, Survive, Tame Impala and others.

Amazing, love to see stuff like this. Programming synths is such a chore
wow.
Just get a Yamaha Tyros
The way its developed, if the Minilogue was as big on the outside as it is inside, it’d be the size of Keith Emerson’s giant Moog. Providing space for 3rd party engines is one of the smarter design decisions Korg has made. Its not the ultimate sound design synth, but puny, it ain’t.
sadly, it looks like it’s just another korg dead end after a couple of minor releases and dumb machine.
