  1. Hmmm- 1000 bucks for the silver one , 500 for the otherwise identical black one with useful colour coded entry keys. I guess someone will buy it….music gadgets now like Pokémon cards!

      1. 420GBP new at Signal Sound UK (inc 20% VAT)
selling for about £320-340 second hand in UK (ebay/reverb) and lots about…maybe they all want silver ones 😉

  2. a bit sad to see, that Polyend has more focus on rolling out new products over maintaining those they already have released… living on short hypes, maybe?

    1. I think you’ve got it backwards.

When Korg kept selling the microKorg for two decades, they released different style variations of the same hardware. They supported the same hardware for 20+ years.

How Polyend released a style variation of the Tracker any different?

I’d much rather see companies keep products around with style updates than have them kill them off unceremoniously.

      1. Because they don’t seem to support their products very well

That is the complaint from most users that there are new products while older ones never get the support they need

          1. Alot of those “updates” brought more harm than good with all the bugs, one can write books about that especially on reddit

            1. Reddit… there’s your problem. It’s a daily chorus of negativity. Kind of like the Synthtopia comment section!

      2. Tracker+, Play+, Mini… all buggy for me. Hangups too. I can’t imagine paying $1,000 and getting bug fixes that take more than a year to fix.

    2. Ever heard of the polyend seq? it was $1200 and had tons of potential. i bought it, and it was amazing how quickly they dropped support. This isn’t new for polyend.

      1. Never tried the Polyend Seq, but in same boat for their Tracker Plus. There is even mentioned updates about more synths engines to be added in manual, which was never delivered after soon 2 years, such should be forbidden.

    1. It is a weird cult and if you complain, then they lock your post or block your profile for 3-4 months. I will not recommend this Cult.

Most of the mods on their forum are biased and bribed with free Polyend products for taking the negative punches.

  3. idk I love the idea of different colorways and materials with instruments, like there’s a billion different finishes and woods that you could buy a fender precision bass with

this metal case could double as a weapon if you’re messing with it on the subway and some sketchy fool tries to come up on you while you’re rocking out

  4. This is a nice looking design, it’s neat that it’s almost like a handheld gaming device. Their website has some great looking product shots. But for the price I don’t know if I’d spend the money on a dedicated hardware device or an iPad that could cover most of the same ground. The iPad mini is $499 and runs hundreds of music apps.

    1. iPad Mini is on sale for $399 right now. I have one and it’s so convenient and flexible for noodling around!
