It’s a dream machine, but has two issues:
-It’s ugly (it would fit right in a shady night club ), but I’m sure Arturia will produce a black one some day
-switching patches is slow. I understand that loading all that data, could take time, but for live setups that is really a big problem.
(I’m a big Arturia fan btw: I own a lot of their hard- and software: the minifreak is amazing)
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder – I have many black keyboards, and this one stands out as clean and different.
However I do worry about polyphony, ergonomics, and sound editing. They’ve been really stingy with the screen size and number of controls. And why are the macros on the right hand side of the display?
But really nice to see the software improvements – that’s to be highly commended!!
For all of us lefties, and I heard our numbers are growing,
only 6% over 65 but around 15% under 30. We’re taking over! 🙂
As a fellow left I share your feelings. Being a little more DIY when it comes to synths I can have pitch and mode at the right had of my keyboard. Taking up bass guitar later in life has ruined my playing instincts. My right hand now has to move left to go up in pitch. It’s a brain bend
