An updated biography of Jean-Michel Jarre is scheduled to be published on October 17, 2025 and is now available to pre-order.
Entitled simply Jean-Michel Jarre, the biography is in French, but the publisher says an English version will follow. We’ll try to provide an update once this is available.

Make it as fully featured Video and I’m onboard 😉
For those who read French, his autobiography “Mélancolique Rodéo is amazing, and a very enjoyable read.
I heard that this was an unauthorized autobiography. 😉
Almost, lol. He was pressured a bit to do it. He intended his first book to be a novel, and he doesn’t like autobiographies very much, with their “necessarily narcissistic side, and these little more or less voluntary arrangements with the truth”.
