Their former name was ISLA Instruments, iirc.
The plastic Korg midi tools are nice, and Kordbot was a kickstarter I funded where the enclosure was not a problem for me whatsoever. It meant a more affordable entry, and the premise has held that a solid board with ample knobbage can perform with adequate firmware. Many synths could have been better maintained and serviced by companies by keeping up with and/or expanding software. A huge case is the Yamaha Reface series or the Sonicware LIVEN series that could have flashable firmwares to broaden the products offerings. Instead they peg them down with fixed arrangements. OK – but if company moves on from support, perhaps open up the software configuration.
I checked the site. They don’t list the Kordbot as their product anymore. Except in the software which only show an update for Dec 2021.
