Audiomulch, VAZ, Scope, Nord, Flowstone, SynthEdit, Reaktor, Eurorack, Max, PD and many others that are modular in nature but not in wiring like Kontakt, Processing and others all on one level or another inspired our thinking here on what we would like to do (and many inspired us on what not to do).
I miss Audiomulch. Especially the Metasurface. I never dug back into it via the mac port. Maybe I should.

If you dig back in AudioMulch, may I suggest getting a $250 2018 Macbook Pro with 32GB of Ram? It will only accept Mac 32-bit VST2s or 32-bit AUs.
Otherwise, you can support the new AudioMulch clone, “Reflection.” That plays VST3s. Still in development. Will have automation timeline soon.
Can you speak to the influence of Audulus on your product?
format? graphically connecting boxes with lines? regular old schematics have done this forever. even SUDS did it electronically on a VT125 in the early 80’s. audiomulch copied it. (tuesday afternoon)

Yeah, nice. But…I really don’t understand what the added value of this is…
It reminds me of early Generator from Native Instruments in 1998, which later evolved into Reaktor.
I would always prefer to use the excellent VCV-Rack, which to my opinion is much more accessible. Voltage Modular from Cherry Audio is another outstanding package. When you use Bitwig for your DAW, there is the incredible builtin modular section.

Software can not be “modular” like is meant in modular synthesis
Very meta but you take one wire from one module and put it into another, philosophy about what is “real” aside.

Just like the computer you typed that had chips made in Israel, and the Meta social platforms you use are made here, and Waze, and cherry tomatoes that you eat, and the booking you do for your hotels, and half the stuff you do every day and as we speak – and just like all those, DevOcean is another amazing innovation made here.
