The Behringer BCR32 – a new, compact version of their classic BCR2000 MIDI controller – is now available to pre-order.
The BCR2000, along with the BFC2000 Fader controller, was a well-received product in its day. Both of the B-Control MIDI controllers were surprisingly robust for their price points, and demonstrated early on what Behringer could do when they looked beyond knocking off established designs.
The BCR32 incorporates the Zaquencer step sequencer, which was originally created by developer Christian Stöcklmeier and released as alternate firmware for the BCR2000. It turned the readily available MIDI controller into a powerful standalone hardware step sequencer.
The BCR32 offers full hardware DIN MIDI, plus analog Sync In/Out and four CV/Gate pairs:
Here’s a demo of the original Zaquencer in action:
Features:
- Versatile four track 32-step MIDI and CV sequencer
- Direct integration with DAWs via USB-C
- MIDI transmission over USB-C or standard 5-pin connection
- OLED display for visual feedback
- Store and recall up to 192 patterns
- Full Eurorack integration with four sets of CV / Gate inputs
- Capable of monophonic and polyphonic sequences
- USB bus-powered and class-compliant
- Two assignable footswitch inputs
Pricing and Availability:
The Behringer BCR32 is available now to pre-order, with a street price of around $270 USD.

“when they looked beyond knocking off established” – still with the petty digs.
petty dig? nah, facts
john – Are you not old enough to realize that Behringer’s business has always been making knockoffs?
It’s nothing new and it’s not Synthtopia being petty. It’s the heart of their business, and they’ve been sued multiple times over the years when they cross too far over the line.
There was one NAMM where they basically introduced knockoffs of every BOSS pedal!
To be fair, some of the knockoffs were of Line 6 pedals. xD
Great to see you still managed to squeeze “knockoff” in there somehow
Finally available! How many years have we been waiting? ?
Awesome ?
At $149 this was an instant buy. $270? Not so much.
You can just order it straight from Europe for the cheaper price and pay no fee as long as the item is under 800 bucks
Sorry, this info I posted is outdated, this rule has been repealed/does not apply to things made in China anymore.

Also “In stock within 11-14 weeks”
I had the original. When I sold it I regretted it pretty quickly.
This looks like a nice update.
This could be amazing for my older synths like my Alpha Juno 2 and DW-8000. I hope it will be easy to install programming templates on it.
