Idle Foundry has released CA-72, a free software synthesizer modeled on the published circuit of the Minimoog Model D (c. 1972–73).
Each board was transcribed from the original service documents into SPICE netlists and simulated in ngspice. The real-time model was derived from those simulations and tested against them, factory calibration included.
