Something To Think About

The way that I work in the studio and the way Plateaux was done for the most part is that I’m listening to the atmosphere at the same time that I’m playing so that the treatment influences what I play. If you just play the ‘dry’ piano and then you try and go back and make it into something else, it doesn’t have the immediacy or the impact that it could have if played directly against the atmospheric treatments.
