Wendy Carlos
This site belongs to Wendy Carlos, one of the pioneers of electronic music. The site has a discography of Carlos’ albums, and she provides commentary on each one.
The site provides a great deal of insight into Wendy Carlos as a person, in addition to her music. There is a photo archive. This is interesting from a historical standpoint, because you can see the equipment that she worked with at each stage of her career. It also gives you a better idea of her as a person.
There are also drawings, computer graphics, poems, and other creative work. It’s an extensive, personal site – it appears to be updated directly by Carlos.
Most important, though, is the first person information about her role in the history of electronic music.
