SynthGlove (prototype)

This is my first attempt at using Power Glove as a musical instrument. I made a small circuit using Arduino which converts finger movements into MIDI CC messages.
I’m planning to add an accelerometer to replace ultrasonic sensors which is embedded in the original Power Glove.

Interesting. I've had one of those gloves for years (picked it up in a pawn shop) but haven't been able to figure out how to use it. I also have a P5 glove (with a USB connection) sitting around. All of which proves that laziness rules around here.
I think we've all got a few projects like that!
I've still got a half-built x0xb0x synth waiting for a few rainy days…..
I also just upgraded MAX/MSP to version 5 and added Jitter so I could control visual images with sound. But in order to do that I'll actually have to THINK. Oh, well…
