Samson has introduce StudioDock, a USB studio monitor that lest you play or “stream” digital audio via USB directly to the monitors.
The monitors also provide an onboard iPod dock so you can sync, charge and play music from your iPod.
Available in 3i (3-inch woofer) and 4i (4-inch woofer) configurations, the monitors offer 2 x 15 watts and 2 x 20 watts of internal power respectively, along with a 25mm silk dome high frequency driver.
While the combination of USB monitors and an iPod dock has appeal, placing these monitors properly – at approximately eye level, could put the dock in an awkward position.
