Native Instruments shared this introduction to Absynth 6 by creator Brian Clevinger.
Native seemed to have killed off Absynth in 2022, and Clevinger shifted his focus to other projects. But he’s been collaborating behind-the-scenes with NI over the last year on a new version, and Abysnth 6 is the result.

Alternatively perhaps you could learn the basics of sound design? I thought this ‘feature’ is typical of pointless application bloat that is rampant in the VST world

What an amazing video. So cool to watch a creator geek out over his own creation. This could have been 10 hours long. Congrats, Brian! I’ve been an Absynth user since the first version, and this is all really wonderful. Thank you for creating something so special.
Its a modular with a solid GUI-base I normally expect in slab type synths, so it has “deep dive” written all over it. I know its legendary in some circles, but as softsynth things have been going, its hitting an impressive design level. You can use it almost like a traditional ROMpler, but the structure can be pulled around like modeling clay. It has a foot solidly planted in both worlds. Solid demo, best “new” synth in a while.
Still have the original version software. Amazing synth for many years. Great to see it back and instant buy for me. Excellent video.
