The Moog Ether Festival needs to hear from people that plan to attend in order to determine if it will be viable to hold it or not.

The 2nd annual Ether Music Festival and Conference is scheduled to be held in the home of Moog Music, Asheville, NC, from Thursday, August 3rd through Sunday, August 6th.

“We apologize for the lack of event information until just recently. We understand that this short notice may hamper many of you from making travel arrangements. With that said, we want for you to know what happened.

Last year’s festival was handled by an independent promoter. They had plans to promote this year’s festival, but due to a personal business development last month they could not continue.

Moog Music decided to go-it alone; to promote the festival ourselves. It has been a challenge but we believe it strongly benefits the theremin community.

Lydia Kavina and Wilco Botermans are poised to provide expert instruction to thereminists of all skill levels – an invaluable resource to most! They will also perform classical and experimental pieces of music that promise to delight the senses in night time concerts.”
