  1. Nice! Of course, now people will begin clamoring for you to make a 4-voice version with racing stripes and chrome filters. Its good to see people "hot-rodding" more traditional synths, as opposed to circuit-bending Casios. That's impressive. Keep at it.

  2. Is that a keyboard from a VOX Continental organ? I used to have one of those wired to my Commodore 64 to play the synth chip.

  3. Yes you're right. I use the space on top of it as pedalboard. If you playing a long gig it's also nice to use the space inside it to store some food or beer πŸ˜‰

  4. It's not a vox continental, but the paintjob and the shape makes it look a little like it. The vox continental is a great organ. Do you still got it?

  5. Thank you very much πŸ™‚ I like that the Dark Energy can make everything from a pure sinewaves to very big sounds. It can also make crazy sound, so its no need for cucuit bending here πŸ™‚

  6. Unfortunately no. I got it from my cousin in barely working condition (tuners were mostly busted), and so took out most of the circuitry and clipped some of the keyboard contact wires to connect them so they could be scanned digitally. Then the keyboard was stored under my parents' porch for many years when I went off to college and grad school. I did retrieve it, but by then it had gotten moldy, so I had to throw it out. So sad now, I didn't realize the history (see Beatles Hollywood Bowl videos) that keyboard had. Back then before the internet I had no idea where to get parts for it though.
