Paul Stretch Rack and Tutorial

AfroDJMac is back with a rack – this week he’s got a Live Rack based on Paul Stretch. Paul Stretch is a free app the lets you do extreme time stretching of audio.

Here’s what he has to say about this week’s Ableton freebie:

Greetings and Happy December! I hope all is well. I am writing to share this week’s AfroDJMac Ableton Live Rack. This week is kind of special, I wrote an article for Sonic Scoop showing how I like to utilize the amazing Paul Stretch software in my workflow. In conjunction with this tutorial, I put together a couple of Live Devices created with some super stretched audio. So, I hope that this is inspiring and useful to you!

You can get the download at the AfroDJMac site.

  1. I love Paul Stretch. Really awesome for making sampled pads. Michael Norris’ Spectral Drone (free AU for Mac) is also really nice. Trifonic is known for using it heavily.
