Developers for the Ardour digital audio workstation have announced their development goals for 2012:

• 3.0 released
• Video tracks added
• New track canvas
• At least 400 bug fixes
• Make it half way or more through this list
• New Website – ardour.org will be migrating to Amazon web services early in 2012, for a more responsive website. There will be more improvements and features added to the site after that migration is complete.
• Windows Release – Tim Mayberry has had a set of patches for Ardour 3 on Windows for some time.
