Monotribe + iPhone + Bass Synth Jam

Sunday Synth Jam: This video, via , captures a Monotribe + iPhone + bass synth jam. Here’s what he has to say about it:

I think the free Alchemy synth for iOS is perfect for spicing up monotribe tracks, since you can morph the sound in various ways and latch the notes, so you can tweak sounds with both hands!

Korg Monotribe analog ribbon synth (drums, synth part), iOS synth Camel Audio Alchemy (piano/pad thingy) plugged into monotribe aux in, and bass part with my self-modded fretless bass (+ guitar rig 4 Bass pro amp sim). Recorded in Sonar X1 in two takes (first monotribe + iphone, then bass guitar)

  1. Love the addition of real bass. One of the first Monotribe tracks on Youtube that sounds like a real composition rather than aimless noodling. I think that bass makes a big difference. Great work – keep going.
