This is a sneak preview of The Chemical Brothers‘ Theme From Velodrome – an official song of the 2012 London Olympic Games.
It’s a little orchestral, a little Kraftwerk-y and Mad Max free. Check it out and let us know what you think!
Five official songs from various artists have been composed for ‘Rock The Games’ and will be played at various sport sessions. The Chemical Brothers have created a new track for the Velodrome, to be released digitially on July 30th.
: It’s a YouTube radio rip by sunhammer420, so it may not be around long.
Well, it sure beats the hell out of that horrid coca cola commercial that’s been making rounds for a couple months.
This is pretty cool however, it sounds a little “dated.” I’m sure there will be some killer remixes though; I might have to get to work on one.
Very mediocrely
This is music? the vocal blips remind me to feed my cat…I always thought these chem bros were highly over-rated..Better to book Insane Clown Posse for the festivities…
the world is going wrong
A bad copy of a Kraftwerk theme.
From Velodrome?? too slow… it missing quite a few bpm’s 😛
Like it!
I think it does the job, though of course EVERY Synthtopia reader could have done better …it helps to think such things whilst sitting on your bum and dreaming of imminent world domination…
Reminds me of Goblin at times.
wow. sounds like it was made on their lunch break. wack.
Love CB but fear this is not them at their best 🙁
