VirSyn has updated Addictive MicroSynth, its looping software synth for iOS, adding Audiobus support and more.

Addictive MicroSynth offers wavetable synthesis, a four-track loop recorder, a programmable arpeggiator and more.

Here’s what’s new in Addictive MicroSynth 1.5:

  • Support for Korg’s Wireless Sync-Start Technology (WIST)

  1. But no filter and other updates into the synth engine itself.

    Always make it universal! Making separate apps splits user base and eats development time. One really good app is better, than trying to support two.

  2. I’m always on the lookout for a good, fun way to make music on the iphone will on the bus or train. So I bought this right away and I’m glad I did. The 4 track recorder works great and you can then record the tracks to a final track and upload it to soundcloud right away. I used looptical before, but this is so much easier and more comfortable too! 😉
