    1. You don’t need ilok for this plug, it’s there for the others which all come bundled with the installer, which to be fair is a pita.

    1. It’s like the waves installer, you’ve got the option of all their stuff by the looks of it, but you just pick what you want, was over 1gb install on osx 10.6, on the kvr thread about christmas gifts someone posted up just the installer for saturation knob.

  1. Installed on my system without a hitch. Only the Saturation Knob component is in my plug-ins folder (since that was all I selected). Aside from the 600MB+ download necessary to install a 10MB plugin, I have no complaints. Even that extra download bloat can be cleaned up, so thanks to Softube for the Xmas present!

  2. To remove the extra programs, in OSX, delete the Application folder ‘Softube Plug-Ins Control’ and in Windows delete the ‘Softube’ folder in Programs. Great plugin & worth the small effort….

  3. All you have to do is open the Softube Plug-ins Control and de-activate everything in the right-side window but the saturator knob. Deletes all of the other plugins that require the iLok.

    Pretty straight forward IMHO

  4. None of this crap will load in anything. It keeps saying “procedure entry point not valid kernell32.dll error”. “The specified procedure could not be found” Plugin control says the same thing. On 32 bit Windows with 32 bit installer. Installer won’t even put the plugins in the folder they’re supposed to in. As I said, what a bucket of fail.
