The MatrixBrute offers five analog effect options, including: two types of delay, a chorus, a flanger and a reverb. All can be highly modulated.
Pricing and Availability
The Arturia MatrixBrute is available for pre-order with a street price of about US $2,000. See the Arturia site for more info.
I really can’t ever imagine myself buying one, but God does it look like fun to program!!
I’ll be getting one eventually.
I have the feeling that there is a lot of juice hiding in this monster…and needs a lot of digging to get it out…
This thing is truely a beast
Phantastique. Also, note the pronunciation of “slot” at 2:34.
I really, REALLY hope that Arturia is taking their quality assurance seriously with this synth. It looks amazing and it’s certainly something I’m prepared to invest in – if the build quality is high and the software is not riddled with bugs on day one. I’ve never had problems with my MiniBrute or Beatstep Pro but I’ve heard the usual horror stories many times.
Really looking forward to what the sequencer can do! I saw the videos with Yves Usson playing around with some sequences but the functionality was not explained.
Best sounding demonstration yet, a truly unique synth
Lovin it! I got my eye on this synth! Nice character.!
I don’t have the space or need for this synth (plus I’m two weeks away from retirement), but I sure would buy a little box that just contained these analog effects. I don’t know, maybe I’m getting too old for this sh1t.
not too old bud. I would love this in my breakfast nook by itself. morning coffee synth…
I didn’t realize it was that big
Hey, that was a pretty competent demo.
No talking over the instrument, actually good sounds as opposed to some hacked up little bassline sequence or useless sound effects…
As with any instrument, a good sound designer could make this thing a rather unique tool.
Rack mount or desktop anybody?
