Ableton Live 10 Wavetable Synth First Look

Ableton Certified Trainer Brian Funk, aka AfroDJMac, shared this hands-on demo of Wavetable, the new synthesizer in Ableton Live 10.

Wavetable is a wavetable synthesizer that lets you create sounds using waveforms derived from analog synths and a range of other instruments and sounds. It lets you modify the wavetable sounds with modeled analog filters and deep modulation options.

In the above video, Funk demonstrates the ins and outs of how Wavetable works, as well as Wavetable’s Push 2 integration.

In the second video, CM Editor Joe Rossitter shares his look:

Ableton Live 10 will be available in the first quarter of 2018. See the Ableton site for more info.

  1. Well, that looks like a pretty comprehensive wavetable synth even if you can’t add your own waveforms. Not worth 200 € by itself but it seems like a great piece of kit. I hope they have good starting point presets because with that kind of depth, getting somewhere is going to take a lot of time.

Bass mono is going to be a great time saver. No more splitting bands manually!

      1. Or he could not get a job, find someone who has bought Live 10, doesn’t like it and buy their license at a discount. What’s your point here?
