Hainbach appropriates old gear for use in music production, and in this video shares his thoughts on dictaphones that have features that make them useful for musicians.

“Buy any tape dictaphone you find cheaply. Look for varispeed (1.2 cm, 2.4 cm, adjustable speed). Get microcassette for clandestine portability, get regular cassette for studio experiments.”
