Sunday Synth Jam: Synthesist Gil Assayas shared this video song style synth jam, exploring the upcoming sample import feature of the Sequential Prophet X.
Here’s what he has to say about it:
“I’ve been beta-testing the upcoming sample import feature on the Sequential Prophet X, and I decided to have some fun with it. I sampled my own voice and then made an entire song and arrangement using nothing but that sample for everything!”
This synth/sampler is a future classic for sure.
Dave, please make a desktop unit.
Desktop/rack unit please.
DESKTOP or RACK!? I will wait for the affordable version π π π
Rack unit and I would buy it now.
PS – no offense but βdrumβ parts pretty much sucked.
nothing special, sorry these sounds can be produced since 16 years with a cheap pc…
I think some are missing the point. Yes, the example isn’t great, but as an owner of the PX, I can wait to run my own samples through that filter.
Yeah…3.999 for a analog filter….talk about missing the point
I would like the get the point too π π π Please tell us xD
There’s no point….that’s the point ..?I guess
For anyone wanting sampling on a full keyboard like this (as i didn’t really see any use of the synthesis), check out the Roland w30. You can do all this on it from a very cheap unit on the used market.
Grear music as always! Nice update! I canβt wait to try one in person!
I was doing this 30 years ago in my Casio SK1. Love this machine though, sounds much better than what I expected. Shame you cannot filter the samples and the “analog” oscillators differently.
