So, where is new album? Thats looks like piano covers of his hits. Vangelis, please do new album on CS-80. World awaits!
Aaaah the walrus.
At his advanced years it is easier to improvise in one instrument.
There’s probably hundred piano , orchestral improvisations in the walus’ vaults.
Synth album makes lots effort : textures, sound design, blending weaving synthesis.
Furthermore the walrus possibly feels he’s accomplished all he wanted with synths.
Nice new age piano album if that’s your thing but I want synths.
“New” music that sounds old. Nice commercial music without substance. Even we can call it cocktail music. Vangelis keeps doing music to entretain the elites, instead of publishing music from the past that sounds new. Like this: Vangelis The Tegos Tapes (1998) https://youtu.be/SW3_jpG6ShE
