@arca1000000 improvisational performance using the feedback pole instrument we collaborated on. The pole interaction is based on the surface of the Stereo Field. Landscape FM, creators of the Stereo Field instrument, shared these videos of their ‘Feedback Pole Instrument‘ – a sort of stripper pole synthesizer.

The Feedback Pole Instrument debuted in a performance by Doña Arca at Place du Châtelet Theatre in Paris. The pole interaction is based on the control surface of the Stereo Field.

@arca1000000 and I collaborated on an instrument that took various forms over her three incredible performances at DAU, Paris. It started as a 9’ tall Theremin and ultimately transformed into a skin activated feedback dance pole seen here in the final performance.
