Synthesist Omri Cohen shared this video demo of a new sequencer for VCV Rack, Entropia.

Entropia is a free module, part of the Geodesic collection, created by Pyer and Marc Boulé. It’s built out of two 8-step sequences, that interact in a special way, all with probability settings per step or global, and the ability to set different sources for each step, like CV from a different sequencer, audio signals, and random signals.

“Entropia is an amazing tool for creating sequences, with a touch of pepper and a dash of uncertainty,” notes Cohen. “It’s all about the balance between the micro, each step and the probability between the two sequences, and the macro, the actual result of two combining different sources.”
