Moog Music today shared this sneak preview of a new all-in-one Eurorack synthesizer/vocoder that they will be introducing at Moogfest 2019.
The new vocoder Eurorack module follows the form factor that they introduced with the Mother 32, and appears to combine vocoding with the ability to shift, and even sequence the shifting, of the vocoder’s filter spectrum.
Moogfest 2019, scheduled for April 25-28 in Durham, NC, is described as a celebration of art, music & technology. The new module will be featured as part of $1,500 Moogfest 2019 Engineer ticket package.
Engineer attendees will take part in hands-on sessions with Moog engineers and build the new synth. Previous Engineer attendees had the opportunity to build the Werkstatt, BFAM, DFAM and Subharmonicon. Only half of these synths have gone into general production.
Tickets are available via the Moogfest site.
