Buchla 100 Series Modular Synthesizer (Sneak Preview)

At Knobcon 2019, Buchla USA announced that it is reintroducing the classic 100 Series modular synthesizer.

Here’s a sneak preview from Buchla synth guru Todd Barton.

The system is based on the original San Francisco Tape Music Center Series 100. The vintage synth design is being recreated, with input from San Francisco Tape Music Center founders Morton Subotnick & Ramon Sender, and Buchla expert Todd Barton.

Details on pricing and availability are still to be announced.

  1. There was a user on Muffwiggler that recently redid all the boards, panels, and parts lists for these modules based on original schematics and then Modular Addict was selling them for DIY builders.

I wonder if Buchla is just taking over that, similar to the Red Panel stuff, or if this is a new re-design again?
