Korg Minilogue Ambient Soundscape

This video, by Canadian ambient electronic musician Syllix, features layered sounds of the Korg Minilogue synthesizer.

Heres what they have to say about the technical details:

Bass, pad layers, and arpeggio are from the Minilogue. Background synth pad was creating in Alchemy and then looped.

Processing: saturation, compression, stereo widening, Valhalla Shimmer reverb, Chroma Verb.

  1. Very nice demo of the mellow side. I truly don’t need any more hardware synths, but this thing is drawing me in. Its almost like the modern version of your first Moog or Roland, sitting there and daring you to dig in. I have a currently semi-committed 61-key synth I can just plug it into this (or the module version) as a controller and still get the goodie. Waiter, 5 Sinevibes models, please.

I love Alchemy as a stunner of a go-to synth. I drive many miles on it. I sympathize with Windows players about losing it, because I ate it with a couple of softsynths when I first got rolling. I have a retired Mac that’s now just the digital rack for 3 old synths I love that didn’t get ported. Fickle business. Back your ass up 6x and sleep better.
