Erica Synths has introduced Bass Drum 2, a new analog bass drum Eurorack module, developed in collaboration with French company e-licktronic.

The module builds on the 909 bass drum design, but adds a Trigger/Gate mode. When in Gate Mode, Bass Drum2 reacts to gated signals, making it possible to create sustained drum sounds.

The developers note that, by modulating the gate length, you can create unconventional Bass Drum patterns.
